Hi, I'm new to this site, and this is my first post.
I want to get this kart working for my grandchildren.
It was left in the open some years after "an engine problem" according to the previous owner and is badly neglected.
I suspect something may have broken in the clutch. Can anyone tell me what model it is and if spare parts are available.
It could make a good project provided the issue is not terminal

How much work you willing to put in? Anything is possible and most parts are very plentiful.

Just google, go kart parts, youll see the main sites.

Ive been doing some searching... Looks like a kart made by "Kazuma". Sorry cant type much, injury...

Others are much more knowlegeable than me. Theyll be around to give youmore specifics.

Clean it all off and look for an engraved serial/type number, labels, a 1-800 number, even an address as these can all be Gewgled. That is definitely a kart worthy of refurbishment due to its sorry state. Good project.

That kart does not have a normal "mini bike/ go kart/ lawnmower " engine on it, and it might not be easy to remove the Chinese engine and fit a more common engine and driveline into it. It does look like a solid frame and it would be worth the work if you are up for some fabricating.

I looked closer and saw the label on the front "-wister". Probably Twister, perhaps a Hammerhead Twister (which is all that Duckduck turned up for me) but could not find anything similar to it as that front end is very unique. Also unique is a single seat Twister kart/buggy as most now are two-passenger karts except the very small ones.. I suspect it is from the early 2000's

The CDI on that is a simple AC/DC system that can be traced and identified pretty easily if you need help. I personally would convert it to a DC cdi and be done with it.

I have a Yamaha Wolverine 350 4x4 with a 4 wire Cdi spliced into the main harness so it all works off the stock key. Hooking a four wire CDI to the stock atv’s battery then yanking the pull rope is how you stea.. Well never mind

Still looking for an engraved number it does have what looks like a "Twister" decal, as mentioned so not a Chinese brand? It looks like undoing 4 frame bolts will allow the engine to be removed, The engine transmission looks like this:

So it has the gy6(reverse gy6 I read?) engine. Look on it for a CC but knowing its a gy6, you should be able to find wiring diagram.

It does have reverse gear lever.

Look on the engine for a stamping number.
A gy6 is kind of a generic moniker for those engines. They are used in knee through scooters alot. Same as a Honda rukus.
There is a long and short case version.
There's a cvt under the left panel and a gear reduction box at the output.
Part are plentiful but you need to know which version you have.

The car in the garage is not mine, we were flushing the radiator. Its 1920's, I can't say more, the owner is very private.

Found a service manual for the Dazon Raider Classic 150S/D (thanks to Edwin S.) which appears to be your buggy but under a different private label perhaps.

Hellion, That does appear to be the manual for my kart. It will be extremely helpful, thank you very much.
Already the book has shown the location of my engine number: 157PM 03113511. I have also found a plate on the frame under the seat that is stamped: LLCBCKLR445000834. I have no idea what these numbers mean yet.
When I got this kart I was told it probably had a major engine issue. I removed the engine today and stripped it. The engine turns freely, the reverse gear engages, and the planetary gears are all good, the clutch spins freely and the drive belt is not broken. The only problem I found is engine casting has broken at the rear engine support however, it has been repaired and should be acceptable, photos attached. Not bad after being left outside for years.
