Good news, torque converter kit is coming tomorrow. I got my new carb, chain and air intake today. Built a custom exhaust and got it painted with high temp rust o lem. Also put on so 18" wheels. We shall see how she runs tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the help and advise!

They were 20x11-8, new ones are 18x8.5-8. Went from heavy nobbies to street treads. The torque converter I ordered is coming with an 10 t #40 sprocket .

Got everything hooked up and took it for a drive, runs good but guessing I have a mis alignment because my belt flipped over when I went wide open. Will add a spacer tomorrow and see if it fixes it.

Side note, I feel as if she got over 40 mph but I have no real way to test the actual speed.

Made a spacer and everything is GTG! Will try that app out once the wife returns. I have downloaded it but can’t go full speed with the youngsters and can’t leave them home unattended. Will try and get a screen shot once I do. Thanks everyone for the advise and help and input!

Ended up putting a 60 tooth sprocket on the axle with 10 on the TC and 18” wheels. With the app I got a max of 41 with a 39 average in mph. Over all I say for 300 bucks and about 50 man hours of work a little blood and a lot of sweat this little project came out very good.
