Well guys the last few days ive been work crazy on this thing... got her painted and lots of new parts on.. tomany to list. lets say ive blown bout 5 grand since turkey day... and here the truck is now.

Since the front end peice grill outer shell was damaged all i could find was the front end of a 75 f-150 so i used that. it droped right in.

I painted it all up with midnight blue and standard gloss black. I layed 3 coats of clear coat and the thing really shines! And not sure if you can see it but near the rear fender there are some Blood red flames coming from the cab corner.. it looks great in person ill get some more pics soon but thats the only pic as the sun is setting and it just looks fing awsome!

It finaly stops i redid the brakes when the paint was drying on everything. the engine still needs to be rebuilt.

The clutch problem was a really simple fix... the spring wasnt hooked up. i drove it today to lowes to get some steel for my racing mower and the thing drives great!!!

Why do you say that? its not likes it will be slamed to the ground and become completely useless as a truck. im keeping the trailer hitch on her and its gona be high enought that it wont bottom out with weight in the back. I really wish the thing was 4 wheel drive right about now.

I went outside we got 5 inches of snow... the truck is covered with snow! and put the key in she started right up and purrrrrreeedddddd like she does! turned the heater on and got it nice and toasty warm! and i just kinda sat in there lol.

Oh, like a couple inches to make it easier to load and such, now I understand.

Whenever I hear the word "lower" applied to an automobile an image immediately pops into my head of a 64 impala or some random 40s pickup on 22s with about .5" of ground clearance and a sound system that can make a city block think there's an earthquake in progress.

Yeah some cars like that look alright (minus the earthquake) But most cars dont really look good that way. down a few inches is what im looking for something like that picture.. but my *** end will be up more cause its a long bed so its gona have a more agressive rake to her...

Also me and a freind are starting to walk throught the woods looking for old cars trucks and farm equipment and when and if we find some we are gona try and take them and either part them out if there that bad of a condition or we will sell the car hole... to people who can restore them. my philosophy is we were so proud of our cars when they were built they were americas most prized posesion.. why let them rot away these days? they deserve a second chance... lol mini ramble.

Don't use those beams, go with DJM Dream Beams. A lot cheaper, and tubular chromoly design instead of a bunch of plate welded together (which makes for a lot of warpage and inaccuracy).

Also, WHY ALL THE F-N HATE ON LOWERING? Seriously, let him do what he likes with his truck. I hate the ugly *** cars with gigantic africanamerican wheels and no tire as much as anyone else, but what's wrong with something like this?
