I just purchased a new HF Predator to replace my junk Tecumseh

The drive end of the Tecumseh crankshaft is 2 7/8 long
The Predator drive end is 2.43 long... short by about 5/8 to properly fit the Comet 30 driver

Any suggestions
Thanks Gents

This is a common problem; most use a spacer or, unless I'm mistaken, simply use a longer bolt & loctite in place...

You may want to wait for others to respond before taking my advice...

Thanks for your response Fabroman.

I was hoping for problems to be done with the purchase of the new Predator...not quite i guess

I was thinking about cutting off a 5/8 section from the old crank and using it for the spacer
what do you think

Thanks
ed
