Well I will try to keep this short ,,,started with push carts and been interested with anything with wheels from that day on ....about that same time I found hot rod magazine /rod and custom /popular hot rodding and others ,,,,,mix the two together and throw in a dash of Roth /Starbird (just a touch of early Barris ) put on your favorite music to kick start the imagination and dreams are born . Finding illustrating at this time didn't hurt either .....been a mechanic all my life ,,,,raced a bit (oval ....straight line and even bicycles...) and so a while ago I rediscovered karting again with a old carter frame I found at the scrap yard .....just my speed ....bare bones , chassis twisted up and missing most of the parts .....fixed it up for the grandkids and gave it a test run ,,,,,HOOKED AGAIN.........so here I am.....at this point I will just list kart related types I am interested in ....Cycle karts ....Go karts ...Mini T go karts .....Wheel barrel karts /Radio flyer wagon carts ....Being retired but still short on funds and way to many projects I found a old murry or monoco? and some other stuff needing to be made runnable again ......so I think that describes me .....not a stock kart guy ....guess I might say I am mot a hot rodder kart guy ....Wayne

the new project

well its Tuesday ...hey only a day or two behind .....here is the new project .....and another that followed me home .... ...always wanted twin engines .....and I think they belong in the front .....hoping to build a body and keep it really low got 40 ...42 inches to stretch out in ...probably more like rolling art then performance .....but we will see how it goes ...the past pictures of the kart being straightened ...... I found it in a recycling yard and think it was bent up buy the claw they use to pick up things ......and yes I lives again and is loved by my grandson Kaleb





think this might be home made ....if so the person new how to weld....never saw a front end like this before

Yes that's where they will be mounted ....tight squeeze so look like I will put them on top of the tube ( wanted to get them at base of the tube but to tight together that way ) only a inch difference though. Should I be moving this stuff over to the build section and posting there ?

You have introduced yourself and you Karts and Ideas.
So yeah It would be cool to start a build thread to Chronicle this.
I am really interested in your Drive train ideas.
