Band: The Heelers
Album: Devil on your Shoulder

"The Heelers, a rocking outfit that displays just enough twang to fit into the mold of Slobberbone or even The Old97′s. Their brand-spanking new Brent Best-produced record, The Devil on your Shoulder, mixes punk and good ol’ rock with a healthy dose of poetic lyricism that would make any fans of John Prine proud."

Availible on iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster and Last FM

I listen to several bands that Im sure no body here would want to here, but heres a few that others might enjoy.

Band: Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Album: Lets Face It
Genre: 3rd wave ska

You may recognize one of their songs from step brothers. Find them on pretty much any music download site.

Band: Mischief Brew
Album: Songs From Under The Sink
Genre: Folk Punk

I doubt they're on Itunes. I use soulseek for my music.

Band: The Pogues
Album: If I Should Fall from Grace with God
Genre: Irish rock/celtic punk/folk punk

You may recognize one of their songs from a recent Subaru commercial. Find them on pretty much any music download site.

Yea the Pogues are great, its a shame they are not as good as they used to be, the band is perfect, just Shane Mac Gowan is a different person, if you understand what i mean. A Pair Of Brown Eyes would be my favourite.

Try "Mumford and Sons". I know very little about them, but I have heard their music and it's good.

i listen too all sorts of stuff, bit of 70's, and 80's stuff. some rock, and a lot of electronic, glitch, dub-step, and the like.

listening to drive it like you stole it by the glitch mob right now.

i usually do not like, country, classical, or any of the popular stuff, although there are occasional exceptions.

Apparently they're all over satellite radio? I only heard them because my girlfriend had their CD. I like "Little Lion Man", if that's the correct name? But The Cave is up there in my top 3.

Uhh?
Radio? Listen to a station that plays your genre, then they do the work for you. :D

Might just be me, but the local station OVER-plays the same crap all day long. Seriously, every single song is either about getting drunk, strippers, or b!tching about girlfriends.

Could be, over there. The Rock is really the only station I will listen to. The rest are as you say, over playing crap.

Jeremy.

I am largely into Rammstein, a German band of big men singing in deep German voices. They'd fall into the category of "Industrial Metal".

I also like Nightwish, a Finnish band, all guitars and operatic singers. Sort of a mix of Heavy Metal and Opera Rock.

I love most Metal genre deviations, Heavy, Opera, Industrial, etc.

(my parents can't stand it, it's just "noise", apparently!)

Also, my father is a music producer, some of you American folk may have heard of Charlie Landsborough?
