Hmmm id imagine it wasnt but hey, air on the safe side. you could always "find" a vin from a another donor and "mistaken" the two

I doubt it is either, but you never know! Yeah I have also considered that as well.

I dont know how they would handle it if I were to check it and it was actually stolen.

give them the name and number of the guy you bought the parts bike from, be sure to tell anyone who asks NOTHING until you got a good idea of whats happening

Anybody have any suggestions for a carb?
I think im going to get a slide one from a motorcycle, that will solve my throttle cable problems.
The throttle setup on the briggs is really weird.

I might try and bypass the governor garbage on there, see how that works out for now.

Working on an aluminum speedo-bucket,
all I need is mounting tabs on it, Its bolting to the ignition key mounts.

Its hard to tell, but the bottom is actually rounded out a bit.

If I had a chain idler and throttle hooked up, I could probably manage to motor around a bit.

It runs fine, I havent started it in a while though.
havent did any more work on the exhaust.
I've been skipping around messing with other stuff.

plus I want to put the rest of the side pipes on before I disassemble them to weld.

I've decided I am going to mount my speedo similiar to this.
Somewhere on the side.
It just looks bad where I Was planning on putting it.

I was going to mount it were the ignition used to go.
But now with the new headlight that just looks stupid and cluttered.
