So I traded an x7 pocket bike for this and $200. Best part is I only had $50 in the x7 so I came out way ahead. Looks like a nice frame and has a tecumseh motor and a pocket bike wheel on the rear. I need to fix the throttle and tighten up the brake. Started it last night and it took off like a rocket and went flying across the garage thanks to no return spring on the throttle :furious2:

The sprocket is as big as the rim hopefully I can do some work on it tonight and see how it rides. The guy was riding it when I traded him and it moves pretty fast

so is the motor in good health because its a techumseh? must be a rough ride does that rear tire hold air? because some pocket bikes have silicone filled tires.

I fixed the throttle and the guy has the govenor spring rigged to it pull wide open with 1/8 turn of the throttle. Took it for a ride and it's not too bad, the front is a little shaky but I'll look at that tonight. Anyone have a pic of how the govenor spring should be on one of these motors?

I personally dont like the lack of mitering the joints. They took the easy way out and simply flattened the ends of the tube and welded them. Its seems to me that would make the frame weak. You did get a real good deal there.
