New mini bike builder, have questions/ concerns

1) the holes I have in the frame where the ales should go do not match each other, the holes in the fork are a good size for a 5/8" bolt, but the back ones are bigger than even a 3/4", there would be about 2mm play.

What should I do? I ordered wheels with 5/8 ID bearings and was thinking of using 5/8 bolts both front and rear after adding a smaller hole in the rear, is this the way to go, what's the large hole in the back for?

2) picture 2 shows what seems to me to be the frame part (maybe fork tube too) being off-center, have cut and re-welded?

3) exactly what axle setup should I run? I was thinking

Bolt-washer-frame-(washer) spacer-bearing/wheel/bearing-spacer (washer)- frame -washer- lock nut

Also, my predator 212 motor does not fit in the frame, even if i lower the motor mount plates to being flush to the frame I still don't think it would fit. I have an aftermarket exhaust and intake coming in so those won't be a problem for clearance, the only problem is the gas tank. Before I decide to take it in and add an inch to the frame and fork height, any possible solutions preferably steering away from a $100 tube gas tank?

1) You could use the 5/8" axles (ales are nice though ) and shim the rear axle with some steel tubing to fit the frame.

2) I'd have that cut and re-welded for certain. You will want everything squared up and true before going further in the assembly.

3) Not sure.

Don't butcher the frame like that.

Not uncommon to have a remote gas tank mounted on the frame, but shelling out 100 clams for one? No way.

Get one of those gas tanks meant for a motorized bicycle, tons of options. I see 2 liter ones for as low as $17.95 or so and free shipping...on that famous auction site.

Can't seem to find any aftermarket tanks that holds as much as the factory tank, I'm thinking of relocating the predator tank up top on the frame, any problems with this idea? What else would I need to buy to make it work?

Relocate it. Shouldn't be too much trouble.

Stock tank holds 3.6 liters. There's 3.5 and 4 liter tanks out there. Guess I'm a professional finder.

But yeah, you can relocate the stock tank it's just extremely homely looking and it won't exactly match the frame's contours.

I have no idea what the stock tank's mounting apparatus looks like underneath so you're most likely going to have to fab up something.
