Hi Corky! Welcome to DIYGK. 🤝

Start a thread in Project Log or Go Kart Discussion and post pics. Everyone loves to see the shape they’re in (barn find/basement find condition) before the work starts.

Edit: you can post pics right to the forum directly, no need for a middleman or Photobucket or other image host.

Thank you gentlemen. I’ve had these karts for over 20 years. Just sitting in s warehouse. Now that I’m retired, decided to try and restore.

The blue kart is a Sodikart Katana. Vintage late 90’s The green kart is a German Kart that came with a Wankle single rotor rotary motor. Produced around 45 hp.

According to Chat GPT, the rotary had been sitting for so long, that I should not attempt to start. Seals are probably collapsed. Says should try and find a seal kit . Working on that.

What engine did the other kart have, just as exotic?

Oh dear, you asked a robot (we’re doomed!)
