Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself... I'm Derek and I'm up in mass. Recently bought 2 go karts one is a Carter and one is a off brand. I'm going to check around and see what I can upgrade and make them more fun and reliable.

The off brand is pretty nice, hydraulic brakes all around, full suspension, four point harnesses, reverse and Electric start. Down the road I'll go to install a more powerful engine.

Welcome. That sounds interesting but, more than likely, it's a chinese import...

There's loads of little tricks & tips to improve performance, everything from changing the air filter to changing the axle sprocket.

It is a Chinese import.. Not a huge fan but it give me a good platform to hopefully make something fun...

Only paid $400 plus a leaf blower not too bad

Well funny thing is I started on the 2nd one I bought (a Carter) for my Girlfriends son... and boy I had a few problems ......ugh

Thank you! Yeah from what I can see its a great forum! I been on a few different forums (hpibajaforum.com) and I was really involved with it a lot.. Testing parts writing reviews, help other members with issues etc. Its nice coming to a place where people share the same interests as you
