Welcome to the forum Tibbey!

You have the Honda GX270, just like me. I can tell you that, that engine really got some power! Do you have a reduction box on it? Enjoy your ride and goodluck. ;)

I don't think it has a reduction box.

What make and model is this kart? I love the cage for it lookes easy to get in and out. Also the hydro brakes.

Would love to get my hands on this kart if this is all original stuff.

tyres!

im not sure of the model kart, and its got a kawasaki disk brake put on by the former owner :D. i dont think it has a torque converter, just a centrifugal clutch going to a chain drive. the good news is i got new tyres! but the bad news is i cant get to the kart today the fit them or take some more pictures for everyone :(. But i do like these tyres :D

Tibbey- post a close-up pic of your "clutch". I still insist it's a CVT. I grabbed one of your pics from above, cropped, enlarged, and labelled. Anybody here still think it's a C-clutch?

Well...

Technically it is a cent clutch because it uses centripetal motion to engage it but its not a cent clutch as we normally refer to.
