Can't see it in the pic of your new blue kart, but it looks like it had a scrub brake(s) at one time. That's why the front tires are bald in the middle, they used to be on the rear and the scrub wore them down. Ironic, it costs more in rubber to whoa than to go.

Ok so I got all my parts today.I counted the teeth on the driven sprocket at 60 so I ordered a 60 tooth sprocket but it's a 32 chain and old was a 41 which I didn't catch.sprockets are 93/4 diameter on old and new is 71/4 on new one.How much will this affect my final torque and does anyone know how many tooth count I would need on a #32 chain to get to 9/34 diameter

I decided to return clutch, chain, and sprocket and get#41 stuff, thank you everyone for all your help.

i got two project trucks, modifed racing/offroad riding mowers, mini bikes, choppers, and a bunch of other car related projects and i STILL have 3 karts and they all need tons of work lol. i might get one goin today tho my gokartitis hasnt left and i dont think it ever will
