I bought a used Yerf Dog last year for 300.00 and thought it was a good deal until I inspected the go kart closer when I got it to the house. After many hours of watching YouTube videos and working on the kart, I've became to like working on the go kart.

My other hobby is air rifles. I'm really into anything shooting but I've been addicted to pellet guns. I have several pellet rifles which are FX, Kalibrgun, Sumatra, and a Brocock. I also reload for my powder burners.

Brianator,
Never heard of a Slavia 620. The only springer guns I have is a Diana 430L and two cheap chinese BB guns. One is a break barrel and the other is a barrel slide action pump. Barrel slide action is a really cool gun but I don't think you kill a fly with that gun. I got it because I never seen a gun like it.
I almost forgot to ask. You Canadian have crazy laws pertaining to pellet guns. Something like you can't have anything bigger than a .22 and you can't have a LDC or suppressor on any gun.

Hello and welcome...

Suppressors on anything gun aren't aloud period. Were aloud .22's or any other caliber, but anything under 495fps is not a licensable arm. After 495, it becomes a firearm, need a license for the type of it, Ie a hand gun or a long gun.
Most PAL guns(Possession and Acquisition License(long guns)) are around 1200fps, high powered airguns, in bigger calibers... hunting guns.

mckutzy,
Thank you for clearing that up. I knew the law was something silly like that. 495 fps? Might as well just throw a rock. Feel sorry for you northern guys. Us Americans just don't know how good we have here but I guarantee it, we'll miss it the second it's taken away from us.

Brianator,
Never heard of a Slavia 620.

It's made in Czechoslovakia, there's a bunch of different models but the 620 seems popular, my neighbor has a 624 and it looks like an exact scaled down model of mine for "young adults". Both are spring/piston. This thing has been sitting outside for at least 4 years so as you can imagine it needs alot of love! Lol. Can't wait to bring it back to life and try it!

I also have a Ruger Airhawk (made by Uramex) that I bought new and comes in at 495fps (also spring/piston) and has enough kick that's the scope had become wonky after only a few hours of target practice, time to upgrade (the scope)! Lol

I have a couple others too, a Stoeger nitro w/dot sight and an old Daisy beater gun (spring/piston) which I seem to have the most fun with because of the iron sights (more of a challenge), all are break barrel rifles.

Everything Mckutzy said is true, just one way "they" are helping keep us safe! :2guns:

welcome, my neighbor has a barrel break pellet gun, I have a pump action bb gun that can also shoot the pellets from the pellet gun. funny story 'bout that pellet gun, he was bringing it over so we could shoot at targets and he had it in a blanket for the walk over, well it tuned out he accidentally garbed his dad's riffle, which was also in a blanket.:roflol: he rapped it back up and took it back very fast! thankfully it ended up ok and no one got in trouble.

If anyone here is interested in reading up on what today's PCP rifles can do, go on over to Airgun Nation. You can look me up there under the same handle/username. I have many posts where I talk about my air rifles.
