Hello all. New member from Iowa! I have roamed around this site for awhile. I currently have two go karts. One is for sale. The other one is running and driving pretty good. I attached a few pics. It runs really good on the road, but off road it is a little bouncy. It obviously has no suspension, so I might do a swing arm style in the rear, but how about the front? I want it to be compact as possible, so not really wanting a double A-arm style. Open to suggestions.

The engine is a 212 Hemi. Still got governor I modded the air filter and made a custom header and briggs muffler with exhaust wrap. The right angled header in that one pic is now on another 212 I got. So, should the jet be drilled out some?

Thanks all.

The best thing to do would be to research reading spark plugs. There's no blanket setup that works for all, altitude, temp, humidity, and subtle differences from engine to engine makes them all want something different.

I'd just do what Flyinhillbilly sez and also lower your tire pressure for a little more comfort off-road.
And hold on!

If you want suspension, I'd look for a buggy style of kart which... basically will be a buggy.

I like the looks of that kart as-is anyway. It looks like a tractor or a VW dune buggy.
