New kart Issues

My son saved all His money to purchase a cheetah8 go kart and on his first day we bagan to have issues. When he presses the gas pedal the whole engine jumps and while accelerating there is an awfully grinding sound. When He changes from reverse to forward the same loud power jump is heard and sometimes the chain falls.
I took a look at the engine and right when He presses the gas pedal it tugs towards the belt causing it to lean and I believe that is why the chain falls.. any suggestions?

could you send some pictures and videos of this happening?

If the engine is jumping around and leaning, I would check to see if the bolts that hold it in are all there, and that they are tight. If they are, then check to see if what it is bolted to ( the motor mount ) is secure ( welded to the frame ). Do you own mechanical tools and have any mechanical experience.
