Great links anderkart. Thank You, Im building a kart for the kids also. The problem with suspension karts is that the courage increases along with the smoother ride.

when the time comes . Im going to be building myself a kart, and I was looking at those Lifan engines on ebay (125 & 200) and was wondering if anyone had experiance with them??

Better off with a 2 stroke, those things are pricy and underpowered for their size. For on road a 125-250cc two stroke would be great, off road i would get a 250+ four stroke.

As long as you go with one of the major brands you'll be fine. Personally i like suzuki.
