Hello everybody, my name is Joe and im up here in western Massachusetts.
Well, first cart I ever rode was in 1984. I was about 11 years old and wanted one for years. I used to tear out the pages of the sears catalog with the gokarts every year and give it to my mom and hope she would buy one for me for christmas. It never happend,I wasnt born into money by a long shot.
Here I am 36 years young and I finally bought a used Manco 2 seater with a 5hp Briggs and a TAV30 torq a verter last week. I used my 11 year old son and my girlfriends 3 boys for an excuse to buy it.
We had an issue with the Torq a verter bracket bending and the driven pulley bearing housing working loose and I snapped a chain. I got that squared away the best I could and its pretty close to straight now.
We went out yesterday and the carb to tank screws pretty much fell out of the thing, there is one left. So, im off to fix it again this evening and give it a once over.
Now the itch has struck us all to go faster already. The 8hp tec on my snowblower is very tempting...im actually scared of what I might do if I pull the cover and the shaft is 3/4"!!
