You have a Godfrey, better known as a Yerf-dog. I don’t know the model but it really doesn’t matter. Most parts are generic and can be gotten anywhere. We can walk you through repairs and where to get parts easily! Just start a thread in the GoKart section. One more thing :welcome2: !!!

Yerf-Dog 3020.

Originally yellow as you can see and that is an original Y-D paw print decal on the front. There were other paw prints on the floor pan.
One of the first karts they made and it's so old, no one has ever found an online manual for it. Supposedly it had a recall (?) because of the steering or some such, plus a repair procedure(?) that has been discussed on the forum before. . .

Super hack: remove your Predator starter assembly and "clock it" (rotate it) to where the handle is at 10 o'clock or so and reassemble. Saves the cord from a premature death from abrasion, plus you can pull on it in a straight line. All us pros do it and we think the sideways Pred logo is the shiznit! :cornut:

Everyone should limit the Introduce Yourself! subforum to just meets and greets and put the real info, questions and photos into the main Go Kart Discussion forum. Good info like this put here, gets missed and ignored ...because this is the most boring place on the site...

There is no forum requirement to write your first post here (or is there?)

i did the pull start trick already. ive done a lot if digging trying to find info. i did notice the yellow. under my foam its orange. my steering was completely siezed when i got. i ended snapping my steering off and welded it on. im currently trying to think of a way to set up for a quad peddles so my kids can ride it. i also would like to change my steering in the front so my kids will be able to turn it. im going to putting a post up getting ideas. thank you for the help!
