New here.. My shifter kart found me, been hooked ever since! NEED HELP!

Totally picked up a new hobby when my shifter kart found me!..
Found this kart in a storage action a few days ago, got me completely hooked! and have been researching karts and the sport ever since..

Would love some help on getting to know what i have exactly..

Frame has a sticker on it that says Trackmagic and seat says emmick so not sure..?.. what i do know is that it has a Honda 80cc/6 speed on it that is running great, kart drives super smooth and is crazy fast!

Was hoping to find out maybe what kind of frame it is?? Year?..
Also has what looks to be custom welded PADDLE SHIFTERS..? witch i didn't see on any other shifter karts i was looking at online.. is it a normal swap? better or worse? i actually really like.
What its geared for? (will take more pics) has a super small sprocket.. and what i can get for it if i sell..?
Any tips, suggestions and comments would be appreciated..

its an emmick chassis(very well liked by anyone who has owned one) i dont know enough about them to tell you specifics, but it looks about nineties somewhere to me. google emmick chassis and you should find abunch of hits. vintage karts forum can prob help too. http://www.vintagekarts.com/forum/ nice score!

Welcome to DIY & thats a very cool kart

I agree that your frames angled/front-nerfbar mounts most likely puts it in the mid to late 90's, or the very early 2000-era. It looks extremely clean and well maintained. I'm guessing It would easily sell for somewhere in the $1000 to $2000 price range. Maybe even more If you found the right buyer.

I've seen several shifterkarts with a paddle type shifter like yours. They work just fine, but now-a-days most guys just seem to prefer the stick-shift style...

I cant say for sure if its an Emmick or Trackmagic chassis, (or even another brand) but I'd suggest sending both company's your pics and get their opinions.

i wasnt aware of the trackmagic brand, looks emmick by the aluminum tank and frontend but i just got my first race kart(margay prox) myself so i could be wrong. good luck

The more racekarts you see, the more you'll realise they all basically copied each others designs, and just made very-minor changes from brand to brand, model to model and year to year...
