hi im new here and i need some help i just got done building a trike half go kart and half scooter heres my setup (these pics are with it un painted and the mock up motor but its now painted and has a clone motor on it)

6.5hp Blue clone
Old 12 tooth clutch (i think this is my problem)
64 axle gear
#35 chain
12'' tall tires
well i having problems with taking off i mean its not to bad but bad to the point i want to fix it so i need gearing help lol

Thats a lot of weight for a cent clutch. Try a bigger axle sprocket and lower clutch gear like a 10.
Better yet, torq a verter.

its lighter then my kart lol i think the clutch springs are shot and it lockin up to soon not letting it get the rpm up to it power band. when does your standard off the shelve clutch start to engage ?? 2400 rpms cuz this clutch is out when it idleing

had to make it a one legger cuz it wouldnt turn lol so i had to cut one wheel lose thats why its got one white wheel lol.
