Hi, I'm charlie. I've been lurking here for a while and I finally decided to make a profile. I've got an old rupp kart that I've been messing with and modifying, so it's really not very origonal now. Ive been considering making it into a live axle, but I don't have any wheels with keyed hubs.

I'll make a thread covering my current project soon. thanks!

Besides wheels you need axle mounts, and an axle. I got it all at BMI last year. Good prices but expensive to ship to Ca. but Ohio to "Minna so cold" may not be too bad. eh donchano:lolgoku:

Thanks for the links guys! I'll definetly be getting bearings abd possibly wheels from BMI karts now. I have a 1inch bar of steel thats keyed on one end, its the drive shaft for the slinger on an old manure spreader we retired. It's a little dirty and corroded but i can have a friend sand blast it for me. I live on a farm so we have plenty of old junk equipment to borrow parts from.

I've noticed shipping is expensive from BMI too. Take time to look at their return policy too, 30% restocking fee!!!!! Plus you pay shipping back. Make sure you're getting exactly what you need and have no doubt about what you order from them.
