New here and to go carts

So I picked up a Klipper Kart for my 6 year old, that needs a little work. According to the guy I bought it from for some reason he cant get fuel to the Carburetor. So Ill start with the normal stuff just giving it a good cleaning and maybe painting the frame.

Im sure im going to have a lot of questions since I will be fixing and repair this as my kids ride it and Im almost sure they will wreck it. ANyways here is an image of the cart just as I bought it for what I thought was a decent deal at $100.00

Things Im sure it needs:
Tires
Fuel lines
Kill switch hooked back up

Things I need help finding:
Manuals
and thing that will help working on this cart.
Parts list
Place to order from
a way to govern the engine so my daughter cant go WOT everywhere.

great find for $100, no fuel to carb could be as simple as dirty/clogged lines, filter or carb jet stuck shut. worst case is carb needs rebuilt. one way from keeping it going to fast is to put a stop bolt/screw in front of gas pedal. for parts you can check BMI kart supply and see if it's in your budget.

Welcome to the forum!! It sounds like yo got a good deal on that one; if you run into snags getting it going, take lots of photo's when you present your questions (we're really big fans of pictures around here; it makes things much easier when both parties can see what they're discussing).

Thanks, Yea Im thinking its something fairly simple. Ill start toying with it the next few days, now that its in the basement my daughter is all excited and wants to tear the yard up

Do NOT use this method of slowing the kart down. It limits the maximum revs the kart can achieve, therefor causing the clutch not to fully engage. This causes major slipping and the clutch will fry in a short space of time.

The best way to slow a kart down is to gear it lower. This will mean getting a larger axle sprocket or smaller clutch sprocket

From what I can see, the tyres don't look too bad.
