New here, and have a project

Been trying to get my head around building a kart for my boys 11 and 14. Information on karts was limited. What I did find was going in too many different directions. But now I have been gathering parts.
Bought a used Murray with everything I needed except the live axel and good motor.
Have a 6.5 predator, 1 inch axel, 30 torque converter, sprockets etc. Needed to cut the frame to reposition the motor mount, and set it up. Anyone else been at this point? Maybe get some suggestions. Thank you.
