Welcome, Nice kart by the way looks well built. Always start off nice. 
Now for that rollbar. The only thing that will protect you from is leading a nice normal life if you roll that thing over. You need one with nice bends in the corners, welded corners are not strong enough to keep the cage from collapsing upon a roll. Triangles are the strongest geometric shape so you need to add some bracing in there also. Till then please do not use the seatbelts. I do like the chassis of the kart.
