Hi everyone . This is my first day in the club.Me and my boys love go karts.We just finished a home made go kart.It has a 8H.P.Tecumseh and a custom belt drive system.

8 H.P.,We call it Nitro

Here's a couple pic's of me and my boy's go-kart,It now has a roll bar and light's with a battery in the front.I just haven't taken any new picture's

That's a nice first build! Just for future reference. You should never use a seatbelt with out a rollcage on the kart. I know you have one on now, but those pictures show it without.

Actually... That looks like a cambuckle tie-down strap to me. Temporarily holding the seat on???
At any rate, the above advise is gospel.

Strap was just temporary to hold the seat on for fit up,without it it just vibrated off.

Welcome to the forum, Jenny- There's a lot of good info (and good folks) here. Have you got a project on the go yet? If you do, start a thread in the project section!
