New guy in Fontana ca

Hey there folks.

Im a dad who is tuning his sons LUCAS Oil Offroad Series JR-1 Trophy Kart. I want to put a 40 series comet on it. It has a Subaru 265cc motor on it built by doug Fleming Motorsports.

Does anyone know if the tav -2 backing plate with jack axle will work with a 40 series, or is there a plate that can be bought to fit the 40 series?

I have a whole tav 2 infact I have 2, question was does the 40 series come with a backing plate or do I need to make a jack shaft tower

Depends on which one you get ... You want one that says TAV or torque-a-verter, those one have a back plate like this one... http://www.gopowersports.com/40-series-torque-converter-kit-bolt-on-8hp-18hp/

Non tav torque converters need jack shaft tower's...
