Hi. Joined because every time I'd google something about old karts this page seemed to pop up. When I came here and tried to click on a picture or link it wouldn't work unless you were a member so here I am. :) Certified welder and welding instructor into anything old with an engine. Currently have three mini-bikes and two karts I'm working on. I race vintage dirt bikes, hence the username "mxer". Would like to try vintage kart racing.

We’re kind of an umbrella forum, covering just about every topic under the sun but the main thrust seems to be go karts of the recreational type and from the Golden Era of karting and mini biking; i.e. yard karts, fun buggies, homebuilt stuff, electric karts and the like.

What vintage era are you interested in?

Hi Hellion. I guess I'm mostly interested in vintage race karts from the late 50s to early 70s. I just recently acquired one. After a little online research, I found out that it is a Neal kart. I also have a Klipper Kart. Just today, I traded a Bonanza mini-bike frame for a two-seater Carter Kart. I'm presently looking for an old two-cycle kart engine for the Neal kart. :)
