Found this place due to googling while building my first drift trike from scratch. I’m 37 years old and don’t like long walks on beach. Mostly always building trucks and decided to change it up and build this. Only issue I’m having is when I try to turn the front wheel just skips across the road like a old three wheeler. Gonna try moving seat forward before redoing fork angle

As far as me helping you I'm sorry. I don't know nuttin bout them 3 wheelers.
But there are a few here who do.

But I noticed, if that's a live axle, it's gonna understeer (push the front) no matter what.

Put some sleeves on the tires or your gonna have to take the rake out of the front....

Unfortunately I can't help you with the steering problems, but having a live axle won't help.

Thank ya. I’ll post more later . Shortening the forks and moving the head angle to 30 deg today

I bought the hacked up frame in the first pic then decided to make it my own. Basicly redod entire frame and shortened it 3 feet. Last pic shows the difference in the fork angle. I went from 45 to 30 hoping it will help with the handeling. I plan to run it on the kart track and not just for drifting. Gonna shorten fork tubes today to lower the front. And just ordered 55 tooth sprocket cause the 75 tooth is to low to the ground .
