Welcome to the forum. A retired metal fabricator, Boy have you come to the right place. And Boy are we glad to have you. You say it handles great, and I have no reason to doubt you. But if you are going to put a bigger engine on it so it goes even faster, well then your pair is probably bigger than my pair.

It will do 35 or 40.mph now i want to run 80mph in the 1/8 mile. I have new front tires to match the back that are narrower than the back ones are. Those front tires are probably 50 years old and the rims I bought them used in Grade 9 when I was 14

You don't want to be drinking when you drive this thing. I have come off it once on the grass doing donuts and centrifugal force tossed me like an old ham sandwich and the second time was when I put wheelie bars on it I will never do that again. When I went into a wheelie hit 30 miles an hour it made it hard right right into the curb and I went flying tore myself up pretty good. It will kill you if you're not careful. With the 40 series comet torque converter and the way I have it geared it can either be a lot of fun or terrifying depending on your skill set if you know how to ride a motocross bike really well and know how to throw w e i g h t around then it's no problem. It's pretty quick and I weigh 370 lb and it tosses me around like a rag doll no lies

I actually built it to tow my dragster back to the pits after a run. But it was too insane for my wife to drive because I have to be in the race car to steer it so we did it the other way around. I also hooked it up to my 3/4 ton 93 Chevy extended cab pickup truck put the truck in neutral just to see if it would pull it and it drove away with it no problem I couldn't believe it a 1700 lb race car is one thing but a 6,000 lb pickup truck I didn't think it would move it it did more than move it. I was very impressed with how strong it is

Used to be a class way back when S/R Street Roadster. I noticed you have
headlights on it. Does that class still exist, and do you run it as one. And I would GLADLY drive that as compared to your death er bar stool.

I needed headlights for night races my choice. I raced in pro and super pro and top dragster. I no longer have the car. I built it from scratch starting in 98 and had it done in summer of 2000. Raced it till about 2007 and sold it. Racing my 08 mustang and 2020 f150 rcsb 5.0l.FB_IMG_1672895636769.jpg

Handles great ! Its wide as well not top heavy at all. Will wheelie at will. I've had it on dirt tracks and grass tracks and asphalt. Even gravel roads. Its a blast.
Nice! That whole 40 mph sounds terrifying to me. I’d love to see you blow the doors off some fast cars with that thing.
