No pics yet, hopefully will get some posted tomorrow but hopefully someone can help without.
Long story short picked up kart that was "throttle stuck wide open" trying to fix it. Not sure what to hook to what, there is not air filter on top of the card, nor the "tabs" for what I am assuming the choke, and the fuel line is just hanging down so not sure where it goes, orwhere to start.

Can anyone post detailed pics of where they have everything hooked up to please?

Is there any linkage on top which allows control of the butterfly valve?

Haha, understandable man. As far as the gas, I already soaked it when I went to fuel it up and didn't realize the fuel line was not connected to anything. I will try and post some pics tomorrow so you all can help me a bit.

I will work on that profile as well. :useless:

Ok, here are some pics, please help.
As you can tell from the pics, it looks pretty messed up. First off I have my doubts the fuel line goes to the carb, I hooked up the spring to A, then the arm, but not sure its correct. No idea where to start or how to get it to turn on. Is this fixable, or should I just go get a new engine to drop in it?
I used letters to help with explain what/where.

First, there is no actual throttle linkage to the carb. There is supposed to be a few rods connecting to the carb from the gov(underneath the tank).

There is a plate for what every reason, is blocking the intake. Also the insulator plate on the back of the carb to the block, looks like it was glued on.

Irs some kind of epoxy on the plate, I'm guessing they tried to seal a gasket instead of replacing it.

Just to be clear....the plate blocking off the intake.... (which should be a filter).....is at "H".....the only reason I can think of for it is to sandblast or powerwash the engine. ....but there's more that defies logic on this engine. ...some people......the PO was a POS mechanic.....

And the gasket glued would be behind "C"......

IDK.....Sometimes trying to fix someone else's stupidity after the fact can be a long uphill climb.....

I'd say take off "H" squirt some carb cleaner, starting fluid, or gas in there and see if it will start.....if not...ditch it....my $.02......

Good point in ordering the parts, I'm just Thu king drop $20-30 on stuff that may fix it, and it still not work,or $80 on a brand new one.

Ok, so I should take off the plate by H, where should the fuel line go that they had hooked to the carb.

Thanks for the help guys, ripped the motor out and picked up a predator 212 to put in it. Now if someone could just post a pic of what wire they tapped the kill switch into I would be set to swap it. And yes, I searched, but could not find a pic.

The yellow wire on the front of the engine is the low oil sensor; find the joiner, disconnect it & wire in a switch (using more wire); simplest kill switch there is...

Thanks, which side do I wire it to? I am keeping it disconnected since I have read it causes issues around turns.

Wire it across the connection; by adding a switch, all you're doing is using the low oil sensor as a kill mech. See wiring diagram below

Sure did, and did not see what I'm looking for. I was just curious if anyone who has a predator and has linked up the kill switch could show a picture of exactly what wire they tapped into.
