New guy from Tennessee

Hi all. I'm Jackson and I'm from Murfreesboro, Tennessee which is just outside of Nashville.
I'm mainly joining up here to learn as much as I can before I buy my first kart to avoid getting in over my head.
Im just looking for something fun to tinker with because my autocross Miata has reached both its financial limit and my expertise limit, and my goped is fun as it is.
I look forward to learning a lot on here, nice to meet everyone.

My main goal with a kart would be to just blast around the roads I live on with my roommates in our various small engine powered craft (gopeds and my roommates supermoto as of now, hopefully if I get a kart it will convince them to as well)

Show them this video (others too, by the same uploader). These were inspiring for me--just simple, souped-up yard karts with cheap slicks.

They're not too crazy riding these roads--they're basically empty, but they do parking lots too.
