Hello,
My 3 littlest kids saved up their lemonade stand money and nickles from the couch cushions (my nickles really-little thiefs) and bought this $50 go kart for $150. It's got the Harbor Freight Predator engine 212cc, a live axle set up (I think that's what it's called).

So, this was supposed to be a great lesson for the kids to save up and reach their goal of having something cool at the end of all their hard work...only problem is that since I know nothing about go karts I didn't realize the axle was bent and welded onto the hubs, which were welded onto the rims which had junk tires on them...I decided the best thing was to start fresh and cut the axle off and junk pretty much everything in the rear end.
So instead of being rewarded with tearing up the yard with the cool new go kart, the kids get to walk by it as it sits in the garage for the last month.

Anyway, I need advice on how to get this thing back up on it's tires and moving. Mostly axle information (I have no idea where to get the stuff or exactly what I need that will work without a lot of fabrication).
I have pics of the rear-end that I marked up. I'll post that on a different, more appropriate thread since this is supposed to be for intro's only. Thanks in advance!

Well, that was a pointless introduction.

Your commenting on your own introduction? do you often talk to yourself? :roflol:

We need more information about you. Location always helps when we need to point you to a store or give you good price estimations. it's all about location location location.

Anyways, yes i saw your other thread. good luck on getting that axle apart and replaced.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

The axle is already apart and in the garbage can. I live in Tampa but I'm sure I'll order everything through the internet anyway.
I have other pics in the "other parts" section.

I slowly figuring out how to use the forums...trying not to annoy anyone,...yet.
