Hey guys been creeping the past couple months for some of your accumulated knowledge (thanks!) as I've been reworking a kids 2 seater kart into something adult worthy and fun to drive, figured I'd join up.

Almost done working the final kinks out of it, few things left to do, looking forward to doing some ice racing this winter. Apart from that I have one other current project you could consider a go-kart. Just got it started over my long thanksgiving weekend, it's going to feature a cr80 motor up front and a driver behind:thumbsup: hoping to have that done by spring. Im gonna hold off posting pictures of that though.. Probably till its almost done.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I did what I could, for now, with the steering. Eventually I'd like to bend up a new hoop and install a rack and pinion.. Along with using a legitimate universal rather than the "quick and dirty" craftsman one I welded in lol.

Installed a torque converter today and it's everything I had hoped for and then some. Big thanks to this site for good information on converters vs. Centrifugal clutches. She'll spin up dirt for a few feet from a dead stop and it's jetted like garbage. Excited to get the carb tuned proper and see what sort of motor I've really built.
