Hello everyone , im a father of 2 daughter 20 son 13......and im new to karts not minibikes ,i will ask for help because im gonna need it!!!! I thought i would get my son and daughter into building and getting some hands on mechanical building and taking apart experience for them. I am currently building 2 karts a Brister Thunder Kart XL500 and the other a Klipper 2 seater ....the Brister was free so i took on the challenge!!!! and the Klipper was $100 running ....lol was running .....Glad to meet all of you !!!!!

Anyway to the OP, I bought a "running" kart myself. Three days and about 16 work hours later, it actually runs for more than 2 seconds and propels itself with human input and not the mind-of-its-own that was controlling it before. Reminds me of "almost ready to fly" airplanes. They look they're pretty much done, but looks are really deceiving.

I got one "for my daughter" as well, but we all know the truth. You're not fooling anyone.
