New guy from Michigan

Hey all I thought I would stop in to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. I am a 30 something average guy that likes to tinker with many different things. I usually have several projects going at one time so that when I run out of parts or something with one I can have one or two backups to jump on to keep my mind busy.

I currently have a powered radio flyer wagon that I'm going to build into a ratrod (We call it the RatWagon) for my daughter, a mess of an old go kart I bought for $50 that I'm completely redoing with a bigger engine, adding full suspension and a jackshaft, better designed steering components and probably a light roll cage. And then I have a 96 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R that I'm going to use to build myself some kind of play toy with. I might even build a couple things with it and switch the motor to the next thing as I go. The first project is going to be a quick, cheap build just to putts around on until I can spend more time and money on a proper build that I will feel safe really hauling butt with.

I already have three projects going. I gotta get my son's go kart finished so he can ride it all summer. Then want to finish the RatWagon for my daughter. Then was gunna make her little tikes cozy coupe motorized (electric) and steerable with a floor and reverse. THEN I will work on a build for me. I will see how it goes. Maybe toss something together witg the 5hp B&S from my old snowblower I just bought for $20. Worked like a charm this winter in 6-8" of snow. Had sone tinkering to do but didn't spend a dime. Hmm... I got a couple new clutches laying around. ...hmm. I can already tell that your a bad influence lol ;-)

Actually, from reading a bunch of older posts, arguing against a grumpy @$$ old Texan who argues about anything that doesn't perfectly fit his ideology and coming to the conclusion that describing him as the south end of a northern bound large animal often used for farm work and transportation is a mighty fine fair assesment of his overall character is pretty popular. ... so I think I'm fitting in just fine.

No sir, although my father and grandfather are from Niles/Southbend, so there are some other Gunn's running around Southwest Michigan. I'm originally from Muskegon.

My greedy Uncle is also from Niles lol, although he's always been quite generous with me.
