Hello group, new guy to this forum. I'm also registered on the OMB forum. I'm retired and started a big tire mini bike build. I have a nice GX 160 that came from my dead pressure washer and also a good flat head Briggs. Will decide on engine when I get further along. I like to read build threads for ideas and noticed many of them are closed for further posting. Is there a reason for that?

Just kartin' around....
Sometimes threads get closed because they got long and way off track. Sometimes it's due to an argument. There is no telling... If you have a question about something you saw, post it..... Make a new post, with a pic or link from the thread in question.....

Bringing up old thread inconvenience vs inconvenience of posting about a thread. Kind of sucks in my opinion to post about a post rather than replying, even if it's old. You can PM a moderator and they can unlock if it's your thread.

The main reason that was implemented was we had new member reviving threads that had been dead for years; after 6 months of no activity, it's very unlikely any thread is still relevant so, it now closes automatically...
It's better to start a new thread & reference a closed thread...
