Tecno replica progress

It's been a while friends. Recent work to the project includes upgrade to a G400 honda from the old 5hp b &s. The honda puts out 10hp.

The roll bar was reshaped a few times and more fiberglass work on the body.

Glassed the top lip overhangs last night. The roll bar will need rear triangulation and the plan is to make it bolt on.

The engine is mounted along the centerline of the kart. I needed to extend the clutch/horizontal drive shafts to lone up with the axle sprocket. The engine and this assembly can be adjusted to take up chain stretch.

Firecracker cannon can shoot a valve stem 200 ft. I set out to work on the kart and got distracted. Having a lathe is great, lol. The breach is threaded to load the firecracker.
