Bad news guys...I was riding my gokart yesterday after finally fixing my top end bogging problem and while going pretty fast my rear wheel hub shredded snapping all 3 bolts. I slid out of control and hit a curb and jumped off of my gokart with little injuries but a scrap😓. the frame, axle and sprocket are bent. my hub is shredded to pieces and my from floor pan welds broke. I think it is finally time for a new frame.

I want a frame that is like a "yard kart" frame so its very customizable, but is beefy and handles nicely but is not too heavy. something that can take a solid 1 inch axle and a 212 engine as well as fitting a full grown adult

Any ideas?

Man I’m sorry to hear about your accident. Just use your old kart for a template and stretch where necessary. Go to Harbor Freight and get a cheap pipe bender so you can build your new kart out of schedule 40 or 80 black pipe that is available at Lowe’s, Menards or Homeless Depot. Salvage what ever pieces you can from your old kart including frame chunks and pieces.
Lastly can we get some pictures of the old kart? We like pictures!

This GoKart was a blast, it hit 50mph, did wheelies, has the stage 2 kit, Mikuni vm22 carb, Aluminum gas tank, 9 inch slicks in the rear and all my hard work since I was 12. Its so sad to see it in pieces 😢
