One tire fire, one wheel wonder whatever you’d like to call it but here she is. Needs a chain and new innertubes in the back and probably a carb cleaning too. Got her for 110 off a buddy just the other day.

It’s a Husqvarna! 😊

Kidding. It appears to be a Brister’s Thunder Kart, one of the D or double models (two seater). It appears to have added-on bars on the sides.

Edited to add: that is a Manco style steering wheel but would (likely) have had a D shaped Kelch Corp wheel. They both attach the same way.

*The wheel on the top left and the wheel on that, er, machine thing. I think that’s a "Kelch ATV" but it looks like it’s trying to be a new age tractor....

Oh and brake work and throttle needs done

It has the common 2/3rds steel rod and 1/3rd braided cable for the gas pedal. Makes it more durable. All rod for the brake. I think the ferrule on the end of the throttle cable is supposed to screw into the bracket. Keep the cable lubed up and ensure theres a good return spring on it. Make sure the kill switch is wired up correctly if you ignore the prior two points... 😬

I prefer OEM style kart seats, to keep your keister as low to the ground as possible. And you can always squeeze in a small child if the factory style two person bench is there; gotta keep the new generation acquainted and interested in karts.

Useless info! 😂

Now I need a one tire fire, one wheel wonder. They’re sort of a “purist's” go kart since the first one (1956?) was such. When you hit the gas on a one-wheel-peel, the tire may spin and make a black mark or throw dirt, but the whole kart starts moving pretty impressively with just a centrifugal clutch...
