Hello everyone!
Joined this site looking for information. Probably not the normal member here, I am 58 and like to build things. Looking for a challenging project to build. Have been looking for a old golf cart but they seem to be in high demand now. I guess I am looking to build more of a buggy - something similar to a golf cart. I guess you can say I am ignorant about karts but like to build. My last project was a front end loader for my Massey Ferguson tractor. Any pointers on where to start would be appreciated.

I'd recommend cruising some of the build threads to see what tickles your fancy for style and functionality.

Offhand I'd say that based on the size (and therefore weight) you're after you'll be wanting a larger displacement motor. If you want selectable gears a motorcycle/ATV engine would be ideal and if you want automatic then a snowmobile/auto ATV engine would be in order.
