Hello everyone! After some reviewing of this thread I decided to join! Sounds like you guys have fun here, referencing all the buildoff threads  I am here, mostly to share and find some more info along the way about the mini bikes I am to build. Like others, I am looking to create a parts list. This forum looks great and I think I'll find myself active on here a lot!
By the way, I'm from the coast of British Columbia Canada, a few hundred kilometers up the coast from Vancouver...
I am fairly knowledged in the runnings of a 2 stroke, but I've never built anything like this before and I plan to make my first micro micro bike, from a weed eater/trimmer motor, followed by my pocket bike build which will be a bit bigger than the micro bike :)

Thanks! The micro bike, is of course, a novelty thing. I MUST make this weedeater/trimmer bike , JUST TO SAY I DID ! ;P the other pocket bike builds,... well I'll be making triplets! They'll be for the family and friends for some off-roading trail rides to the lakes and such :) Maybe I'll even be able to enter in the contest, heheee

One of my earlier adventures into building machines was building a bicycle, powered by a chainsaw. It was an old husqvarna 266xp(66 cc IIRC), got it for free and rebuilt it. It made a lot of power for a chainsaw, once you got it in the powerband anyway. The bike didn't work too well, because I just scrapped parts off of other bikes and kinda threw it together. Got it up to 30 mph once, and if the chain could stay on it would've gone 40.
