i think he hooked that respirator thing up to the exhaust maybe? This thread is making my head hurt. Why not just swap clutch out for torque converter and be done already. i just lost 20 minutes of my life....

clearly you see failed engineering in the form of a inadequate clutch, i defiently improved the design by welding half cut out round stock and centered the fly wheel so it makes zero noise while idling...pour as much oil as you want on it ... it will wabble and rattle

So if the noise and Rattle of the clutch bothered you,
I was wonderng if you have plans to "redesign and reimagine" the muffler system on this.
I wonder how quiet you could make it? Like a silencer on an AR-15.
Give that some thought and let us know what you come up with

No need for absolute mechanical perfection because the way I see it, you're still in the 'trials phase'. And besides your friend, so you say, already clocked you going 45 mph+ with a radar gun or whatever it was.

So have the friend do it again. This is all for proof of concept--a necessary step in the development procedure. In the meantime, I've got fresh popcorn and PBR....
