I'd be rather concerned about the clutch on the rear engine jumping teeth on the chain... does that happen at all?

Why the concern with just the rear engine and not the front or rear sprocket? For optimum performance, shouldn't it all line up?

Hold on, I think I see it - is there a sprocket on the shaft of the rear engine, along with another clutch? I had originally thought it was just one long chain.

If that's the case, are the two clutches just so you can start it easier? Or are there different amount of teeth on the front clutch relative to the sprocket on the rear engine? All of the rear wheel power would have to be transmitted through the rear clutch regardless, where I'd be concerned about trying to put too much power through it.

Either way, I'd like to know how your dual speed setup functions.
