New builder needs help

hey guys i just joined the site and was hoping i could get advice. iv started building my home made gokart which is steering, wishbone and hubs from vauxhall tigra mounted on a custome frame, the power comes from my old cbr400rr but im having trouble deciding how to deliver power. im on a small budget (girlfriend) so i dont want to go down the diff route, i was thinking live axel but i dont want to spend money on hubs and wheels as i have lots of old bike and car wheels i would like to use. thank you for any advice.
