New build & need help

i go to the silverlake dunes all the time and see these offroad karts and i want to build one. ive ridden dirtbikes and 4wheelers my entire life, and workon them all the time. so im familiar with alot of what makes these karts. however i dont know where to start or what plans or much else about them. please help! thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Have you any fabrication experience? If you want to build something that's worth a dang in the dunes, you'll need to know your way around some tools. You will also need a respectable budget, and your first purchase would be a good set of plans.

Failing that, buy a fixer-upper, and fix 'er up (er)...

ive fabricated frames for dunebuggies, 1600cc motors on em, and built the motors on em myself. and budget isnt gonna be to much of an issue. i want to make a custom kart, one seater, obviously offroad, and be able to take hit comin off them dunes. thanks!

im loving the frame and the how well built it looks. it said 75" width, it seems wide to me, but are they all around that? the independent suspension is definitely a must, but i know shocks at that length are in the 1400$ range. is there any way to lower the shock tower on the frame to support a shorter shock ( i know that involves shorter a-arms in most cases)? i plan on jumping this, but its more for the dunes than anything. but im liking the way this one is setup. anymore ideas?

i looked up more about the pirhanna, and there's multiple ways it can be designed customized, ect. ect. im really liking it! so my next question is, where do i start?..

If you want to build the piranha, order up some plans!
