I have a kiwi-kart that had a VFR400 On it which iv just ditched for a 1999 VFR800 setup.

Now the 400 was mounted next-ed to on the right of kart. The 800 is slightly heavier so im wondering is it still a good idea to mount it next-ed to driver?

The cart will be used for fun,Skids, drifts. Not racing!

Any ideas would be great :)

I personally think it's better to mount a heavy engine at the back. You might have problems with traction, because the right tire will have more traction than the other one.

Yeah i thought that too but due to the kind of use we will use it for i was thinking it may not matter?

As in gaining traction do u mean?

Cheers
