That's a gy6 engine. Parts are everywhere..... :wai:
And yes, you're missing the cover for the right side of the case. I think the harness is pretty much multi compatible. 2slicknick would be a good person to ask. He is pretty knowledgeable on the gy6 engines.
Good to see ya around . been a while.....

That's certainly a nice looking buggy! You ought to have a lot of fun with that one, once its up to par. I see a lot people hopping those engines up and getting a lot of power! I've seen some fast little China buggies, with the same style engine.

Cool score.
Start with seeing how many bolts are on the valve cover. 2 or 4?
Get the engine model number , it should be somewhere under where it say younshe or to the right of valve cover somewhere.
I have never heard of that buggy name and hate electrical issues.... Go to knm garage.com to try and find and read some more info.

Ok problem is guy hacked to **** the wires trying to bybass stuff....he wanted to bypass the key and i found out on my own is becasue it didn't work and that was due to the fact that the wires were rotted behind the ignition so he tore into it and you can see from my picture what I'm dealing with can where can i get a new wiring harness for it or how do I find out how to fix it like which wire goes where? I know it runs because I drove it down to the house but I'm finding it very hard to find parts for this particular model

It is probably just some off brand chinese buggy....
How many bolts on the valve cover? Do the headlight turn on when engine is off?

Is one of these thecvalve cover? Its no secret im new in this game lol! Im getting really bummed becausr it ran but i cant get it started so we started to try to hook the cut wires up again. Guy i got it from cut about everything to just make it run without all the crap. Turns out it was just a bad ignition but the damage is already done unfortunately!

Tom called me back and we talked some but he said its hard with the off brand and i just need to take my time with it. But i cant find crap on the kart! No diagrams or anything! I stand a better chance if i knew what parts and wires were. Im doing research but my wires dont match stuff close to my kart. Tom said about all 150's are the same but i have no base line to go from

Why does it seem people frown on these kind of karts?

Any help figuring out this would be highly appreciated!!!!

i have the same type of cart and the same problem, I figured out about half of that wiring harness (the parts to make it run) the other half is just for the blinkers, lights ect. stuff that doesn't matter all that much on off road. are you still having problems with your harness?
