Hello everyone! I found this forum I suspect for the same reason most did, I bought a kart! Two actually... A friend and I were talking about old times, you know.. basic nostalgia stuff, typical middle aged gab. Anyway, we got on the topic of go karts from when we were kids and I said "Man, I'm tempted to buy one just to rip it around and laugh" and he said "funny you should say that, lets take a walk!" He then proceeded to walk me out to one of his fields where he has created a huge grass track, he doesn't even have a buggy yet! Well, that lit a fire under my stink region and I hit market place... found a Murray Kilowatt and fell in love. After buying it, the wife decided she wanted in on the action, so I found another kilowatt and boom.. here I am. I'm sure I'll have loads of questions going forward, and I'm certain there are folks here who have forgotten far more about these karts than I have ever known... Pictured are both karts, white one is hers, black one is mine. Both will get get predator 670's, but for now the black one is powered by a Duromax 420, the white one is a Tillotson 212.

Denny got so excited he posted twice!

Welcome 0din. You got some nice karts there and already talking big engines. Right on!
Glad the wifey likes em too. Makes for more fun when you have competition.

Welcome to the forum. You have definitely come to the right place. Not too many women are into karts. Good job. Have you driven them much yet? A small single seater ( like the ones you have ) with a good running 420 should put a pretty big smile on your face. If you're into tinkering with engines, there's as much aftermarket hop up parts available for these little engines as a small block chevy.
