new and dont know much about front forks

so im still kinda knew and dont understand somethings i need some help on 2 things

first on the fork when attacting the two tubes welded together with the flat stock when i attacht it to the part on the bike the one that determinds forkdegree wut do i need to put so it will turn bearings, washers etc...? before i screw it together

second on the back whell wut do i attach the big sproket to the isnt big enough to put it on that and i cant weld it to the axle because it will spin???? is there some kinda part i need
noob bout this stuff only 15 so help would be great

usually you need a hub for the sproket as for the forks i dont know,hey im only 16

I think you're referring to the neck / fork connection area, and how to make the fork able to turn left and right so you can steer.

if so, you'll need either bearings that fit in the neck tube, and some kind of pin/bolt connection in the fork assembly that slides through there.

or you'll need a bushing setup, which is the same basically except that a bushing doesn't have a bearing. The bushing is rubbing directly on the connecting pin/bolt.

ya kindof i want to avoid using bearings if i can but is a bushing like a washer?

no a bushing is basically where you have two materials that fit really tightly. http://www.diygokarts.com/kart-plans/steering-plan-assembly.html shows a pic where I used a brass fitting to make a bushing for a steering arm. That gives you the idea. For my chopper I used a bolt that was very tight fit with some tubing. http://www.diygokarts.com/chopper-plans/img/forks-7-550.jpg
